Working on my Sculpture 1988

Here I am working on the patina of my bronze sculpture back in 1988.

Totem Bronze

(c)1987 Ralf Schulze

One of my earlier bronze welded sculptures. It is about 9" tall and probably weighs 10 lbs because it is solid bronze.

Scraps from the Fine Art Bronze Foundry (Tallix) welded together.

I think it is at my parents place on Long Island.

Fine old Sculpture

A Fine Old Bronze Sculpture of Mine.

(c)1989 Ralf Schulze

I always liked this sculpture, it combined many ideas and styles I had at the time.  But it never seemed quite right, like something was missing.

Anyway it is about 15 inches tall and probably weighs a good 20+ lbs. It is made of welded Bronze Foundry scraps that I welded together.

I do not know where it is right now.

Postcard invitation for a Show I had in Danbury CT

I had a show of most of my sculptures back in 1991 or so.  It wasn't a solo, but it was a large space I shared with another artist who did mostly paintings. It was a private gallery that went out of business soon after.

Small Turkey Sculpture

I made this in 1989.
It is only about 10 inches tall.
It is welded bronze on a stainless steel base.

The Smoker

He's Solid Welded bronze. about 2 feet tall and weighs approximately 25 lbs.

He is Happily hanging out in Charlottesville Virginia near the entrance of a good friend's art studio!
